CPU plus GPU is APU

Recently AMD is concentrating  AMD A-Series Accelerated Processing Units (APUs) is targetting do-it-yourself. While it was designed for desktop, small form-factor and home theater PCs.

Technology

So...What is APU?

An APU is simply a processor that combines CPU and GPU elements into a single architecture.

Why we need APU! most technical geek don't accept Graphics Card is only for Watching Blu-ray flims and playing games etc. Yes its true because now your Internet experience Youtube, Browser, even Operating Sytem needs rich graphics. So we cannot take excuse choosing the system or Laptop without good graphics requirement.

This could be main reason AMD targeting gamers as well normal user. But the battle with Intel still continues............

IP vs SIP vs Cloud Camera

While Traditional Video Surveillance being outdated Companies started concentrating on IP Camera for Video Surveillance everybody felt oh…. IT has gone into everything but slowly requirement been changed people want to do surveillance remotely to see what is happening in their campus, but the solutions seems costly you need a server to do that. Then in some people configure Public IP directly to their camera, which made them possible to do surveillance anywhere in the world.

But the problem is still they need special Software to do surveillance. then some of the company introduced SIP camera!  This is interesting from phone you can dial the IP and port  you are on. Dlink is having another solution it saying everything is cloud most their products are integrated with cloud.

What is Dlink can do in the Cloud to do video surveillance for example you have camera and you don’t have Public address. So you can opt Dlink camera which is integrated in cloud (they saying cloud solution is free of cost) also apps provided for smart phone or you can choose web browser to do surveillance.

IP vs SIP vs Cloud still more to come.............................

OSI layer and orgin

I always surprised how OSI team made this perfect model, when there is no idea of images and audio in datacommunication. When layers worktogather the updation of any individual layer will not affect other layer operation.  For eg: changing of any physical layer media cable Cat 5 to Cat 5e will not affect the operation of other layer.

In 1978 ISO group met in Washington, DC the Honeywell team presented their OSI solution standerized later in 1979.

What will be the BGP in future?

BGP is a path vector routing protocol which connect two autonomous network which can be OSPF network.  BGP is one protocol where ISP where used to connect network.  As per stats of BGP the network was 100000 in 2000 but in 2012 network gone to 450000.

Network relies on these protocol to get connected each othe all earlier version of BGP is outdated (EGP and etch). we will see what happen in future.
